"Stay In Cape Town" was founded in 2005 with a strong focus on property management through short-term letting. With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest level of integrity, which is our most prominent attribute. As property managers, our primary goal is to handle our clients' investments with utmost care, allowing them to have minimal involvement while receiving a rental revenue check and monthly income statement. In addition to our expertise in property management through short-term letting, we are thrilled to announce that we have recently expanded our services to include property sales. As we have established strong relationships with numerous investors, we always have a pool of potential buyers readily available. CEO/ Founder

Koos Spangenberg

Koos Spangenberg has been in the hospitality industry since 2003 and has gained enormous experience in the field. In his first job he worked for a Tour Operating company where he also started to manage a couple of self-catering apartments owned by his Director. He soon realised the huge potential of joining the two fast growing industries together, namely the Tourism and Property industry. He left the company in 2007 as an entrepreneur to start his own property management company and after spending a productive two years growing his portfolio “Stay In Cape Town” was born in 2009. He has since worked tirelessly to build his portfolio up to over 60 properties which the company now manages in Cape Town Central and the Atlantic Seaboard. Koos’ hands on management style and enthusiasm for this industry has resulted in building long lasting relationships with both owners and guest. His consistent strife for excellency in all areas of his business serves as an inspiration to his staff who are loyal supporters of achieving the best in everything they do.

Friederike Spyra

Friederike Spyra joined Stay In Cape Town in 2017 and immediately fit into the environment. Friederike or Freddie is originally from Germany and speaks German fluently which many of our overseas tourists value. Her friendly, patient and helpful demeanour finds great resonance with our guests and owners who also appreciate her hands on approach to problem solving and advise on what to do when visiting the mother city and surrounds. Although having an extensive and successful background in the textile industry she finds the fast paced tourism industry extremely stimulating and loves this challenging environment.

Cathryn Snyman

Catherine Snyman, a recent addition to our team, brings a wealth of experience from the hotel industry, having spent over a decade as an Executive Housekeeper at the prestigious Mount Nelson Hotel. With her extensive background, Catherine plays a vital role in our organization as she takes on the responsibility of training our housekeepers to deliver exceptional service. Her expertise and keen eye for detail ensure that the right systems and procedures are implemented, guaranteeing that each apartment is meticulously cleaned before the arrival of every guest. Catherine's dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and her commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience make her an invaluable asset to our team.

Vuli and Grant are highly dedicated and hardworking members of our team, and has been with us for almost a decade. With meticulous attention to detail, they ensures that the housekeepers are efficiently transported between apartments and assists them throughout the cleaning process. Additionally, they are responsible for promptly reporting any damages or maintenance issues, ensuring that necessary actions are taken swiftly. As a welcoming presence, they also meets guests upon their arrival, providing them with essential information about the property and its specifics before handing over the keys. With they're unwavering commitment and exceptional customer service, our guests can enjoy a smooth and pleasant experience during their stay.
